With cosnovAcademy, the international cosmetics company cosnova has created a central platform – a learning management system – that goes far beyond simply managing training programs. Today, the Academy supports approximately 1,200 employees at nine international locations in taking charge of their own development, building new skills, and pursuing individual career goals.

In collaboration with clickandlearn, a modern learning and talent development platform based on eFront LMS was developed in just three months – scalable, multilingual, and closely tailored to the company’s HR processes.

The challenge

As part of a comprehensive digital transformation project, cosnova faced the challenge of consolidating all learning and development activities onto a single central platform.

Until then, continuing education programs, mandatory training, and professional development opportunities had been spread across various systems and processes. At the same time, there was a growing need to make learning available internationally in the future and to provide employees with easy access to relevant learning opportunities.

Therefore, the search was not for a traditional learning platform, but rather for a solution that:

  • promotes individual employee development,
  • actively involves managers,
  • Manages continuing education budgets,
  • integrated external learning opportunities and
  • can easily accommodate future growth.

In addition to its extensive range of features, the solution’s high level of customizability played a particularly decisive role in the selection process.

The solution

Using eFront LMS, clickandlearn launched the new cosnovAcademy in just three months.

From the very beginning, the platform was not viewed as merely a learning management system. Rather, it was intended to serve as a central infrastructure for learning, development, and talent promotion.

Today, the Academy brings together all relevant learning and development processes in one place:

Implementation in just three months

Despite the high demands, the new Academy was launched in just three months.

Particular emphasis was placed on international scalability. The platform is currently used in four languages.

In this way, the Academy supports employees at its international locations around the world.

In addition, external learning libraries have been integrated over time, which has significantly expanded the range of learning resources available.
