Herba Chemosan is one of Austria’s leading pharmaceutical wholesalers and one of the most important partners for pharmacies in Austria. With a dense distribution network, a strong focus on service and a broad product portfolio, the company supplies pharmacies with medicines and healthcare products from numerous manufacturers.
Inital situation
Herba Chemosan faced the challenge of making existing training processes more efficient, flexible and future-proof. Face-to-face training courses were time-consuming and resource-intensive and offered little scope for short-term learning needs that may arise, for example, as a result of new legal requirements or product innovations. The aim was to create a digital platform that provides knowledge quickly, promotes continuous learning and remains easy to administer.
Lösung
Together with clickandlearn, eFront premium was introduced as the central e-learning platform. It combines modern user-friendliness with extensive functions for effective learning management:
- centralised management of all learning content and target groups
- Learning paths and certifications
- Integration of existing content (SCORM, video, documents)
- Reporting and analysis functions for monitoring learning progress
- Single Sign-On und Anbindung an andere/interne Systeme
- Revision of content
- User management and automatic user updates
- Role diversity in the system with administrators/managers/trainers, etc.
Thanks to the intuitive interface, learners were able to get started quickly. Administrators also benefit from clear structures, automated processes and reduced complexity in training management.
Initial successes
Significant improvements were evident shortly after the go-live:
- Save time organising and tracking training courses
- Higher participation rate through location- and time-independent learning
- Greater transparency regarding learning progress and qualifications
