Company profile:
Two operational business units – Automotive and Energy Solutions – from Zwei operative Business Units – Automotive und Energy Solutions – from the cornerstones of the Banner Group. The company has been producing batteries for all types of vehicles since 1937. The Automotive division covers an extensive product portfolio with starter, on-board power and leisure batteries in original equipment (OE) and aftermarket (IAM). The Energy Solutions business unit, based in Thalheim near Wels, focuses primarily on the further development of traction, semi-traction and standby products. Quality, innovation and the development of its employees are at the heart of the company’s philosophy.
Initial situation
Banner faced the challenge of bringing new and existing sales staff up to a common level of knowledge – from technical basics to brand understanding and quality management. In the course of this, they were looking for a modern, flexible e-learning solution to efficiently and sustainably convey complex specialist knowledge and technical basics such as amperes, volts and ohms. In sales in particular, it was important that all employees understood the basics and could apply them confidently in customer conversations.
Solution
Together, we have developed a modular e-learning series with a clear structure and short, interactive units. Content, tasks and videos are sensibly coordinated and interlinked. A particular highlight are the explanatory videos on amperes, volts and ohms, which convey technical topics in a clear and understandable way.
Result
Complex topics become understandable, technology becomes tangible and brand values become tangible. This gives learners confidence, helps them recognise connections and enables them to impress with their technical and communicative skills.
