Here is an activity that draws on the 'mental map' that the students have created with the software. Students must actually 'picture' the shapes and locations of their counties as they work their way around your state.
Working in teams, students determine which student on their team will handle one section of the 'relay.' Each student on the team must recite one part of the knowledge that they have learned. Great for upper grade students or lower grade students who are preparing for the Geography Bee.
